Ünal Çam is a graduate of Selçuk University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. He started to work as a reporter/photojournalist at Milliyet Newspaper in 2011. He followed mass protests, natural disasters, refugee crises and political developments in Turkey. In addition to these, he followed the wars in Syria, Iraq and Azerbaijan from the front. He has been working as a freelance photojournalist since September 2021. He lives in Istanbul.
